We are looking to hire a candidate for our Direct Care position! These positions are available in our four-bed licensed facility designed to provide 24-hour intensive behavioral support services to youth with developmental disabilities and severe challenging behavior.

Job Expectations: The job requires providing direct care in a person-centered manner, ensuring that clients’ unique needs, preferences, and goals are at the forefront of every interaction. The role also requires the capacity to effectively manage crises, providing responses that ensure the physical well-being, as well as the emotional and psychological comfort, of the clients. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with medication adherence, dressing, grooming, bathing, and other personal hygiene needs; supervising client schedules and activities; providing support and behavioral training services; and documenting all relevant information.

Hired candidates must complete RBT certification within one year of employment. Candidates considered for Lead positions must complete RBT certification within 60 days of employment.

Schedule: We have a variety of shift options to choose from! Full and part-time shifts include day (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM), evening (3:30 PM to 11:30 PM), and night (11:30 PM to 7:30 AM) shifts. Weekend positions available.

Per Diem Option:  All shifts are scheduled to provide 24/7 care for our residents, giving our employees flexibility and peace of mind. Per diem employees are offered shifts on short notice and will not have a consistent schedule.

Because you are our primary safety net for uncovered shifts, we look for individuals who can respond quickly to shift openings. Since you’ll be stepping into shifts that need immediate coverage, we value someone who can jump in with a positive attitude and hit the ground running.

We respect your time! All we ask is for proactive communication regarding your availability so we can coordinate the best ways to support our team together.

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of six months of prior experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Educational requirements include a High School Diploma or GED. Background and medical clearances are also required.
